Is there a way (tellstick, plugin)? (1 Viewer)

I have a Telldus tellstick in an other computer but still want the cool function dimming down all my lamps in the living room.
Together with the Tellstick I use Switch King (other GUI) to control the lamps by schedule or events. Switch King can read from a file and do different events based on the content of the file.

My thought was to make a plugin to MP writing to a text file every time a movie is played, paused or stopped. Then let SK to read from that file and dim my lamps according to the file content.


Can I get some help with this plugin?
I have no experience in programming MP-plugins, but it seams to be a quit simple task fore someone use to it

Don't really understand your problem. Tellstick plugin already exists with that function, search the forums.

Yea but it requires that the tellstick is installed at the HTPC (or am I wrong?)

No, you are right. I guess you're out of luck unless the writer of telldus pause decides to work with the switchking team.
