Is it possible for MP to stop the computer from entering sleep og hibernation while we're watching movies? Perhaps this could be done through a plugin that starts when we start playing media and that starts some very low demanding task that can run in the background to keep the computer from hibernating?

If both the TVServer\powerscheduler plugin and Mediaportal Powerscheduler client plugin are enabled correctly, then there should be no standby\hibernate while MP is active, unless you have windows power settings enabled, which they should not be.

Need more information on what you have done in the above settings, screenshots always clear thing up :)

I must admitt I have not tested those yet, but I'll do it as soon as RC4 is out :)

But what do you mean by disabling Windows Power Setting, is there something more to it then just putting it to never turn off the screen or hibernate?

That will do it, make sure in the powerscheduler client plugin "only in home screen" is selected.
