Here is what I'm trying to do.

My MP skin is being designed for one purpose only: to allow me to show my photography. Everything else is already gone.

What I am finding however is that after starting MP I have to:
Select the My Pictures page, and go to it
Select the folder I want, and go to it
Select the subfolder I want and go to it
View my photos

Ideally, what I want is to create a BasicHome.xml that can reference a given folder directly with a button's hyperlink property. IOW, create a list of shortcuts into the My Photos folder browser.

Is there a way to do this?
