The way I understand it the only form of parental controls that exist at the moment is by making 2 separate databases/profile. One database for "the kids" and one for "the adults" (or all).

Is it possible for MyFilms to function like Media Center and allow for all movies to be displayed but prompt for a pin/password for movies that are rated R?

It seems parental controls is a big overlook with MP and I'm trying to cope.

And where do you store yours pin/password for movies rated R ???????
Do simply a configuration for kids without movies rated R and another protected with password with those movies !!!
Be sure if your kids can see those 'protected' movies that they'll search to pass thru the protection and they'll succeed as the protection is very very simple... They can simply search the movie file on disk for example....
So it's better to not display those movies so they don't search to find.....

Can you change between the 2 different configurations (children vs adult) on the fly or does it require a restart of MediaPortal?
