ISO/VOB versus MPG/MPEG (2 Viewers)

I went to the blog but really couldnt find much information. The only thing that i found was on the thread and it said to rename .vob to .mpg. If that's all that has to be done why not just try it on one video and test it?

Yep, I will indeed test that (as soon as I get my new Media Center built). But of course, that won't compress it any further will it?
