Hmmm, on closer examination I can see a few differences:
    1. 4 digits being sent when *not* testing.
    2. Delay between digits is 300ms when *not* testing and 600ms when testing.

Would they make any difference do you think?

I don't know I have tried both ways. I tried the same amount also. If I am WinTV or an Arcsoft program that came with it to capture video it works. In the Translator can I use multiple buttons, say 1 {1};{c:\directv\directv /i 192.168.1.30 /s 1} ???? or create another item that the .exe file is for TVServer only and map the buttons there? I have even just thought of making a different button that will take me to live tv but change the commands completely from MP to DTV but keep some MP commands..

I don't know if this helps at all, but when I am on the guide and select a channel it will act like its going to. Then a 0 will come up, DTV will say channel not avalible then what ever channel it was on it stays, then the translator trys to enter the #s lets say 252, it will go 2 channel not there, then the 52 will come right up

I apologise in advance for what might be dumb questions in this post, but I'm finding it *really* hard to follow what you're doing and some of your descriptions...

I don't know I have tried both ways.
Do you mean 4 digits and 3 digits and 300 and 600 ms? Did you change the settings while you were in TV Server configuration *in that session*? Keep in mind that I can't tell whether you're saving or changing settings from the logs. That means that 1 minute it looked like you were in TV Server configuration testing the channels that worked (3 of them) then the next minute you were trying to tune channel 252. It seemed very strange to me that if the 3 digit method with 600ms per digit delay worked in TV Server configuration that suddenly the blaster plugin would be using different settings (4 digits and 300ms per digit).

If I am WinTV or an Arcsoft program that came with it to capture video it works.
When you say "it" I take it you mean the HD-PVR?

    In the Translator can I use multiple buttons, say 1 {1};{c:\directv\directv /i 192.168.1.30 /s 1} ????
TV Server wouldn't be able to handle that.

...or create another item that the .exe file is for TVServer only and map the buttons there?
Sorry but I don't understand what you mean.

I have even just thought of making a different button that will take me to live tv but change the commands completely from MP to DTV but keep some MP commands..
Again I don't understand what you mean. Are you talking about remapping the commands sent by your remote?

I don't know if this helps at all, but when I am on the guide and select a channel it will act like its going to. Then a 0 will come up, DTV will say channel not avalible then what ever channel it was on it stays, then the translator trys to enter the #s lets say 252, it will go 2 channel not there, then the 52 will come right up
It does help! I'm getting the feeling this is a misunderstanding or problem about the way you're using MediaPortal front end rather than a problem with TV Server - let's clarify though and take this real slow.
    1. What screen are you on when you're starting to do whatever you're doing - the full guide, a channel guide, or the mini-guide "popup" window?
    2. What buttons are you pressing on your remote.
    3. What do you mean by "DTV"?
    4. Where does the 0 come up? (MediaPortal or your TV or somewhere else???)
    5. What is the "it" you're referring to when you say "it was on it stays" and "it will go 2 channel not there"?

The other thing that would help is if you could provide your MediaPortal xml file.

Again apologies for all the questions, but I am strongly of the opinion that if you can use the channel up/down buttons then there is nothing wrong with TV Server - something about your zap settings, the remote buttons that you're pressing when you try to zap directly, or something else is not quite right.

I should also point out that you can only zap to a channel (enter a number to switch to a specific channel) in full screen TV.
