Most of my Movies were encoded for an Apple TV using Handbrake. As such they contain a 5.1 encoded AAC fileas Audio One and a 160kbps encoded AAC as Audio 2. When playing these in Mediaportal, which I am moving over to, I get no Audio. I have FFDShow and AC3filter installed. I'm hoping to use these files without having to reencode all my movies. They were originally .m4v files which MP will not recognize, I've renamed them to .mp4 is this causing the issue ? Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi,
If you in MP configuration -> Videos -> Video Extension & add m4v to the list, shouldn't that solve it?
Also make sure to select ffdshow as audio codecs in Video Player settings AAC decoder. .mp4 can crash with music section which has this as default in extension(maybe remove it & check).

    Regards

    Hi,
You can always attach the lMedoaPortal logs, maybe something shows up or upload a small file for testing(or point to one already on net)
