Just to cut in, and I am trying to not make this a thread jack.My tv (which is PAL but supports NTSC) looks terrible when I put it into 720x576 (PAL widescreen i believe) the screen goes all fuzzy and the picture jumps and I cannot get it into fullscreen. However if I crank it right up to something like 1280x960 it fills the screen perfectly BUT I cannot read any text in windows. Once media portal is running though everything is good, no fuzzyness and no screen jumping. My tv is a philips widescreen (cant remember model) and its is most definetely not HDTV its too old.So perhaps you need to try higher resolutions to get the output correct, OR I am pushing my tv too hard and am going to regret it
