Hi there,

first of all congratulations, it's a wonderful project! Great!

I got the main features working with MP, but as always not everything works 100%. Maybe someone can help me out here:

1. Using the Sleeptimer function (reducing the volume to 0, winamp as external player). It works well but after counting down to 0 i can't listen to my musik anymore e.g. everytime i load a new track the volume sets itself to 0 in winamp. The only solution ist to restart MP then everything works normal. Any ideas?

2. When recording a TV program with ac3 audio and converting it to mpeg2 with the built in converter i loose my audio track....any solution?

3. The Playlist button is a bit confusing when you want to get back to the folder view you have to "uncheck" actual playlist to get there. would be helpful if you put a checkmark to that button to see in what mode you are.

4. Getting data from IMBD works great! what a pity it doesn't work at all when looking for audio cd information...i get to the point where i can choose the exact title of the album and then it says "No album found". Never got it working as yet. What could be the problem? didn't find any place to configure that.

5. I can't get my tv card to scan the hotbird channels as well as the astra channels...am pretty shure it's because of the bad BDA driver from terratec which doesn't fully support diseq? I tried every setting here....nothing.

6. THere is no way to chage the audio track when watching a dvd....i think it's because of the skin i am using? No key for that?

That's it....help would be highly appreciated, this software rocks! Keep up the good work!

Presently I use VideoRedo, since I ususally want to edit as well. Audio is preserved when the mpeg is written.

Previously I used GraphEdit for that particular conversion. I don't remember the details, but it was something like this:
1. New, empty graph
2. Render media file. Select the dvr-ms file you want to convert
3. Delete all filters automatically added, except for the media file itself
4. Add Cyberlinks mpeg multiplexer to the graph (sorry I don't remember the exact name of the filter. And maybe you have to find it somewhere and download and register it first...But I think recent MP includes it in the installation)
5. Add the cyberlink mpeg file dump filter to the graph. Select an output file name.
6. Ensure correct video / audio pins from the dvr-ms are connected to the multiplexer, and the output from the mux to the file dump filter.
7. Run the graph

This might be tricky if you don't understand GraphEdit... There are solutions...

Fixed in patch: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1484550&group_id=107397&atid=647927

Need a dev to commit the patch first before you can use the patch though.
