I finaly figured out that this was due to the fact that i was running Mediatomb on my ubuntu server. Shuting down the upnp server there prevented the MP Client to crash. enableing it again and the MP Client crashed right after trying to open the rtsp stream. (without writing any errors to the log files) The Problem is i "need" this upnp server for my simple musik streaming clients within my house (hardware upnp clients), and i was not able to find any solutions within this forum .... are the devs even aware of this problem? am i the only one having this problems? any solutions? tia [/QUOTE]
