I've done it all, the tv card is recogniced but when I scan the channels, the green bar takes like 10 seconds to get to the end and it just stay there...
Now I notice that a message come under the start logo of Media Portal (under the screen that load up all of the program files), but it is hardly visible and i can't move it, but aparently said something about a log file with to many bugs!.
my hardware is this:

a Nvidia 6150 Board, realtek MCP61 audio, 2 gb ram DDR2, AMD Athlon 4600 x2 2.4 gb, 250 gb of HDD, an Advantek ViewPro TvCard and add on firewire...
and WinXp x86.

I'm starting to get real frustrated...
