I have given up on removing jerky panning on HDTV. SDTV material on my PAL transmission looks great, but as soon as I watch live or recorded HDTV, all panning scenes are jerky. Zooming and stills are perfect.
I tried all possible frequencies, deinterlacing modes, resolutions with no sucess. My Panasonic plasma 42PV60 I think has a native 60 Hz update frequency. Can this cause my problems? Why no problems on SDTV material then?
Current settings: 60Hz, 1024x768, automatic deinterlacing HDMI-HDMI from a ATI HD3870 video card.
Is it a known bug in the 1.0.0.0 release with HDTV?
