I have upgraded my htpc with MP so I have (most of the bits) from the old one.

I would like to use this as a jukebox.

I already have allof my music on one hard drive (the os/programs on another). Most of it is .wav files and some in .mp3.
It is all in the D:Artist/Album/song title (filename) structure.

What I am after is some free jukebox software just to allow me to play music from it. I will be streaming the audio out of the pc digitally so I don't need any sound processing etc..

The other thing, I would like to be able to use it with my Imon VFD / remote control.
Ideally I will use it with out having the pc connect to a screen (without even a video card if possible, will it boot without one?)

I have had a quick google but not really found much on jukebox software supporting imon displays etc.

    Any ideas?!:D

should even be possible with mp.
remove/deactivate all the plugins you do not need.
configure imon display in mindidisplay plugin and you should be able to navigate through your music with only the imon display turned on.
configure perhaps additionally last.fm and One Button Music and you are done
for me it works quit well to start music only with the antec fusions imon display, but it's definitely more fun, when the big screen is turned on all the extras like fanart are displayed.

another more elegant way would be to use ipimp or mppronto to control with an external device. https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/improvement-suggestions-46/remote-control-via-wifi-bluetooth-via-webinterface-java-app-70562/
