Synopsis::
Jumbled Home Page with full screen on secondary monitor?

The MP home page works fine on the primary monitor - when I go to full screen on the secondary monitor (1920x1080, 30 Hz) then the main page is all squished into the top left corner - not really useable.

If I go into any sub-page (TV, Music etc...) then the page looks good, but when I return to main page, it does not look right.

My ATI card has a DVI/Component adaptor which outputs at 1080i - this is fed via component video cables to my monitor (Dell 2405fpw, 1920x1200 Wide) about 50 ft away. I change to the external monitor using File->Change Device but also have tried the MP_Start.cpp file. It all works well for everything except the MP main page.

Also, if I understand right, the Direct X hardware stuff in my ATI card is disabled when using the secondary? Is this true?

All help/advice appreciated!

Garth

I found out more about this bug - when you start MP on the primary display - everything works fine. If you switch to full screen on the secondary display, then any page you had visited previously (while on the primary display) becomes corrupted (ie squished into top left corner) when you go to full screen secondary. Since MP starts on the home page, then the home page is always corrupted...

Help!

    I think i have read this somewhere before, i'm sure you had to make the TV the primary monitor to work.
    Hopefully someone with a similar setup will be able to give you a better answer.
