Is it somehow possible to jump directly to TV fullscreen. I mapped the TV button of my remote to do so but it doesn't work.

Could it be that TV is only started if you go to TV home and not if you go to fullscreen?

    Hi Hawkeye,

No, it doesn't work to go straight to fullscreen TV.
I use an "AutoIt" script that makes it appear to go to fullscreen TV straight away but that is only because the script goes to TV Home and then Fullscreen TV so quick that you don't actually see TV Home at all.
Note: I use this script in conjunction with the MyKeys plugin.

    Cheers,

    Nick Name.

    Thanks for your answer.

Would it be possible to change that - so you wouldn't need that workaround... Or am I the only one who would like to have that possibility???

Hawkeye - I agree with you. But, I would like the ability to choose which plugin to start fullscreen with!

The Autostart plugin has just been updated and will do what you want.

    Cheers,

Yes, it did as long as it worked... As you can read here it is no longer supported and it also doesn't work with current MP versions.

And that only worked on startup or resume of MP - but I'd like to map it to the TV button of my remote too...

Oops, I misread the Download page. I though they meant it had been updated for the current MP versions. My bad...

Anyway, I recently had been using a script to autostart Fullcreen TV but now I use the MCE replacement plugin as I have many uses for the macro ability in it. i.e. Eject DVD, force EPG download, fullscreen the music visualisation with a remote (not keyboard) to name a few. Very cool tool!

    Cheers,

Now I use this plugin too. But I have a X10 remote and so I can't map my TV start macro to the button... Or is there a way I haven't found yet?

I am little confused by your problem? I assume that your remote works with the plugin otherwise you wouldn't use it?
    Anyway, here's what I did:
I created a macro on the 'Macros' tab that did two things
    1) Goto: TV
    2) Goto: TVFULLSCREEN
Then I opened the 'Event Mapper' tab and for Event selected 'Mediaportal_Start'.
Then for Command I selected the macro and clicked the 'Set' button.
Now when MP starts, TV is displayed fullscreen.
I could have also assigned the macro to an 'action' mapped to a button but I haven't yet. Although it would make sense to map that to the 'Live TV' button on my MCE remote...

    I hope that helps,

    Good luck,

    Nick Name.
