Just Install Beta - Issue with the Home Screen (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I'm relatively new to MP. I've installed the Beta version just to check it out. So far I only have one issue wit hit. The home navigation screen seems to default to the that view that toggles everything from left to right. I like the list "up an down" view better. I'm able to switch to that view, but once I restart MP, it goes back to the other view. Can someone point me in the right direction to get MP Beta to hold that list view screen?

Hi and welcome!

This is something that does confuse many newcomers ...

MP has two homescreens:
- Basic Home: "Static" - set by skin author or via modification (XML or application)
- (My) Home: "Dynamic" - displays plugins as you set them in MP config -> plugins (disabled, "home" or under "plugins").

You can switch between them by pressing H or (home) on remote.

You can select what you want to use as default in configuration -> general

You can also map the (home)/H to go "home", instead of "switch home" (meaning toggling between the above).


Well ... that was clear as fog, I guess ... hope it made some sense, though ...
