I have installed MP 1.3 on Windows 8 and mostly it runs OK. My problem is when I go to Radio, I thought I can import a web stream from a local radio station. For example, if I goto the radio station's web page, they have a big "play" button that listeners can use. OR, they also have an iTunes stream. But I can't find out how to make MP import this iTunes stream. How can I import an iTunes stream so that it shows up on MP in "Radio" or somewhere else? I can't find this in the wiki anywhere, I've searched the forums but there was not anything that I found relevant. Plugins also were searched but nothing seems to be capable of this simple task. All I want to do is import a station's web stream that they make available in iTunes. Anyone know how to do this?

You need the TVServer for that. Then open TVServer Config -> Tab TVServers -> RadioWebStream
    In Wiki: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...onfiguration/02_TV_Servers/8_Radio_WebStreams

    Hope this works! :)

    Hello Poincare,

    the magic key is
The final steps to create a web stream channel are:
    • add the channel to one or more channel groups so that it is visible in MediaPortal
    • map the channel to the RadioWebStream card in the Radio Mapping section
That was why I didn't get the radio webstreams running: Don't forget to add the radio source (often m3u or similar playlist files) and then MAP the channel to web radio tuner.

    Good luck, Fafnir
