[TV] keep recordings until "next day", "next week"... (1 Viewer)

Hello guys,

I've got a suggestion for the tv recordings.
Additionally to the existing options I would like to suggest to add the option of keeping recordings
until the next day or the next week and so on.
Examples of use could be shows on a daily basis where it would only make sense to watch them on that
particular day. If you miss to watch them it would not make sense to watch them the day after.
E.g. I would like to record a specific news show in the morning to watch that show when having breakfast.
If I do not watch that recording on that day (for whatever reason) it would not make sense to keep that show
because on the next day I want to watch the most recent show not that one from the day before.
Maybe that sounds a bit complicated but I think it would find its users and I think that should'nt be very
complicated to implement.

episodes management covers most of what you describe. episodes to keep = 1,

Are you talking about a special plugin? I can't find anything that would cover what I suggested within the
standard tv recordings section....

Well I doublechecked that before but there is no such option available as I am suggesting.
It's not about scheduling recordings but about another option how long to keep a certain recording.

Scheulded Recordings -> Episode Management -> Specify number of episodes to keep.

You got me guys, I have to admit that I only checked within mp and from the cut off option label (german titan)
I didn't get how this was supposed to work.
No harm meant!
Since I now have learned that this request is already I feature you may erase this thread...
