Hello

How can keep MP settings, plugins ,databases as it is; if I would like to test svn.

According the instructions Installing SVN is same like installing from scratch but I would like to get benefit of SVN but not loose my customisation etc.

Could you help ?

    When you install a svn, it asks if you want to make a mediaportal backup select yes, this will make a full copy of your MP folder as it is.

    Then install svn, should not change your settings, but it will give you more selectable options in config, make sure any extra plugins you may be using are the latest version for svn.

    If it did screwup, uninstall MP, delete the installation folder and reboot, reinstall MP0.2.3.0 and before doing anything else, overwrite install folder, everything should be back to where you left it.
