I'm very sorry if this question has been asked before, and I'm sure it has, but I could not find my specific problem in the manual, faq, or searches of the forum...

I have the Windows Comfort Wireless Keyboard 4000 and it has the usually media feature at the top. When I use the buttons in Media Player, or Media Center, it works flawlessly, however, when I use it in Media Portal, it loads Media Player in the background and does nothing to the current video in Media Portal.

I have selected the "Use MCE Keyboard or remote" option in the MediaPortal configuration panel, however this hasn't changed anything.

Can someone please throw some information my way on how to make this work. If there is another thread just like this, I once again apologize and if you could link me to that, I would appreciate it.

Hi Dion - welcome to the forum

Try terminating the process that controls your keyboard, or uninstall the bundled bloatware.
