No, you can download VC#Express for free from Microsoft. There are other methods also but I'm not familiar with those.

Alternatively wait until a dev merges the patched code, assuming they want to, into SVN and download a nightly build.

If they don't want it I'll try and put together a process plugin that does the same.

Curious - will this patch be merged into SVN?

I would really love to be running the latest STABLE version of media portal with this patch... Will this only happen if I grab the source for latest stable version, merge the changes myself and compile? Can someone tell me how to find out what SVN version the latest stable build is built off of?
