Keyboard shortcut - Ctrl+Key (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have a cheap remote control, and I've been configuring it for use with mediaportal using the keyboard hotkeys in the configuration (For example, my "volume up" option in the remote triggers the char "(", so I just set "(" as a keyboard shortcut for volume up and it works fine).

So everything works fine that way except for Pause and Stop. My pause button in the remote does Ctrl+P (if I press the pause button while in Notepad, for example, it goes to the Print menu) and my stop button does a Ctrl+S.
What I need is one of the two options:
1) Have a Ctrl+Key in the keyboard shortcuts. Haven't figured out a way to do that yet.
2) Have a way to remap the key in the remote control (not very likely, I realize, since it's not a brand remote).

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Take a look at the "Shortcuter" plugin. You can use it to translate Ctrl-keystrokes to MP commands.

The description says: "keryboard shortcuts to any screen like myDVD, TV etc...", but can I also use it to create a shortcut to "Stop" and "Pause"?
