It has been pointed out that the keyboard trap does not work in service mode, and to get round this you have to use keyboard relay.
This method however do not trap keystrokes at say the windows logon screen or locked pc etc. which is a pain for me as I use a key combination to turn on my projector screen.
I think I have a potential was to solve this am need some advise from any seasoned developers on the forum.
My idea was to take the source for Ctrl2Cap which is a keyboard filter that can trap keys at any point in windows, and use that idea to forward commands directly to the IR Server.
Anyone have experiance of building under the windows DDK?
