Please excuse of this is the wrong forum, and move if needed.
Maybe it belongs in the Listen to Music section?
Anyway, when I am in the music "Shares" view, I can easily jump down the list by tapping the number keys on my MCE remote 1-4 times, e.g. I can tap "8" once to get to "T". OTOH, if I type a "T" on my MCE keyboard, nothing happens.
If I then switch to one of the DB views in orede to use the search function, the behaviour is just the opposite: I have to key in the letters from the keyboard. Using the MCE Remote only gets me numbers.
It would be really nice, if both input devices were supported (in the same way), in thes two different use cases. However, it is more important to me to be able to use the MCE remote in thse search field, than to be able to use the keyboard in the Shares view. Is this something I can configure myself, or does it require work on the part of the developers?
for the great SW. It may not do everything I want, but it still seems way ahead of the (commercial) competitors!

A great improvement in this area would be to support incremental typing, the way MCE does. For example, I have a lot fo artists starting with "B". It would be great to be able to key in "Be" ("2233" on the remote), for example, to get to Bee Gees, Beethoven, et al.
