I've added a "reset CI/CAM" button on the tab where the CI menu is in TV Server config. This feature might be useful if the CAM starts to misbehave and you don't have physical access - you could try to reset the CAM. To test this you will need the files from the second attached zip file. To try it: tune an encrypted channel on the tuner, then attempt to reset the CAM. That is just to check that it doesn't cause a BSOD or something.

Best regards,

mm
Hi again everyone chr0non: sorry for the delay. An updated DLL is attached... Django: Yes. I want you to test the follow scenarios: 1. Tuner 1 no CI slot, tuner 2 CI + CAM. 2. Tuner 1 CI with no CAM, tuner 2 CI + CAM. 3. Tuner 1 CI + CAM, tuner 2 CI with no CAM. 4. Remove CAM from slot on either tuner, wait 15 seconds then reinsert it. In each of the first 3 scenarios please make sure that you test tuning an encrypted channel on each tuner - your previous tests with La Une on each tuner have been good. In the fourth scenario make sure you have tuned an encrypted channel on each tuner before you remove the CAM. Basically what I'm trying to check is: 1. How we can tell the difference between when a CI slot is connected or not connected. 2. How we can tell the difference between when a CAM is inserted or not inserted. 3. What happens when a CAM is inserted or removed. If we know those 3 things then we can make reliable CI/CAM handling. Leave it enabled. Preselecting is perfectly fine. The only thing missing from here is a scenario like scenario 4 above. :thx::thx::thx: If you have the time then there is one other thing that you could also try but you don't have to have physical access for this. :) Best regards, mm
