Hi all,
First time poster, just upgraded my little PC version of MP from version 0.2.2 to 1.0 (Whoa!) after 18 months of happy usage.
Congrats to the development team, what a leap... Especially the working support for japanese (and other double-byte) filenames, which was sorta worked around in the old version (by having the filenames displayed as blank).

Are the default skin the "simplest"? I run MP on an early P4 desktop PC, which can just barely deal with 720p resolution files. While I'd love to run some of the fancy skins (tried out a couple of them), they simply make the program stutter... <sigh> Oh well, the PC I'm using is a free disposed of PC.
I have switched back to using Mediaplayer Classic as the video player, as the internal player seemed a bit processor hungry and did not like subtitles all that much (trying to play a file with embedded soft subtitles resulted in no subtitles, even with changing all the appropriate settings... Oh well...
