I'm just taking the main movie file at the moment, though I may transcode later. I have a file that plays perfectly in MPC-HC and selects English by default. When I play the same file using MP's internal player the video is fine but the language is now German. I cannot even change to English using audio language selector. It displays 3 audio tracks (all listed as 'Unknown'), the first of which is German and the other 2 are commentary tracks. I think this is a bit odd :) MP language settings are correct. I've tried messing with both audio and video codecs. Am I correct in thinking that 'MPC - Mpeg4 decoder (Gabest)' should be the same video codec that MPC-HC is using? I have also tried the Cyberlink PowerDVD 9 h.264 codec with the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated, just a hint as to where to look for the problem would be good. [/QUOTE]
