Last Play position for Recorded shows does not work... (2 Viewers)

Hi all...
Have been having this issue for a while now... since at least RC1 without SVN.

Anyway, i am now running RC2 with NO SVN's on WinXP SP3 with all updates.

For some reason, if i start to watch a recorded tv show and stop half way, the next time i start watching it always goes back to the beginning.
However, if i watch the same show VIA " My Videos " it all works fine.

This problem only occurs if i watch a recorded tv show via " My TV ----> Recorded TV "

Can anyone shed some light on this ? I know there was an issue with RC1, but it was supposed to have been fixed as per this thead : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...viewed-positions-recordings-38936/index3.html

This only happens to me if i switch to play another video\recording file, without pressing the stop playing button, try it and see if you can confirm.

I record in .TS format and you?

A trick: deplace recorded tv shows in MyVideo section in Mpeg and it will work.

This only happens to me if i switch to play another video\recording file, without pressing the stop playing button, try it and see if you can confirm.

Tried that... makes no difference.

so this only affects clients in MultiSeat(that could be why i don't see it)?

Have repeated test and can switch between recordings within Recorded TV and resume no problem singleseat, so are you using multiseat client testing this, this is with MP1.0RC2.

Did you try to change format record to Mpeg?
I cannot test because i am not at home. Does it change someting?

Another idea: first time i had installed MP i used SQL Server Express and it has worked. After that, i reinstalled windows for others purposes and installed MP with MySql and problem occured. Maybe there is a link.

Might well be a db error, using M$SQL here, anyone else can maybe help pinpoint this, info needed

Before i was running in a singleseat with MSSQL -> worked
Now i run in a singleseat mode with MySQL -> Not working

All on XP SP3 and MP1 RC2

I think there is definitely a link here.. MSSQL works MySql does not work.. hhhmmmmmm.

Any DEV's out there with a suggestion or an idea ??
