I'm continuing to build my first all-in-one HTPC and noticed when I installed PowerDVD 8 Ultra yesterday it stopped seeing the virtual drive created by Daemon Tools. I didn't recognize the problem was with PowerDVD until after completely rebuilding the drive from an image I made prior to installing MP, it works with PowerDVD 7.3, but stops working with 8 ultra.
A quick google search found the problem being discsussed on the Slysoft boards here: http://forum.************/showthread.php?p=167694.
I haven't tested it, but reading there it seems the Slysoft virtual drive works fine with PowerDVD 8 but there is no way to configure that as a replacement for Daemon Tools in MP. If there is a way, I'd sure like to know how.
