Launching MP only leads to configuration (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I just installed MP on a newly built HTPC and I can't get it to run. Through the start menu I have the option for MP or MP configuration. However, no matter which one I select I only get the configuration app. I can't launch the actual MP app.

Any suggestions? I've searched through the manuals and forums and I haven't found any advice. I've gone through the configuration. I've reinstalled the app.
If it helps I'm running 64bit Vista and the user account control is off. If you need more details please let me know.

PS - Sorry for the dupe post. I had posted this a few days ago in the installation / config. forum but didn't get any responses. I figured it would get more visibility here. Again thanks for all the help.

Have you pressed "Ok" while in the Config Screen to quit out of it?
I think MediaPortal will always open the Config the first time you launch it, but it should only do that for the first time.
