Hello,

I recently got a Leadtek Winfast HDTV200 H, and the program that comes with it is a pain. From what I've seen of MP, its fantastic. But it tells me I have no tv card.

Windows 7 pro x64, AMD Phenom 9600 2.3Ghz, ATI HD4300

From what I've read, I understand MP doesn't do everything, and I'm not sure how new this card is. If anyone has any fixes or an alternate program to use I would be very grateful.

All MP needs to run it is BDA drivers. Pretty much any DVBTcard should work with TVServer.

I was under the impression that Win7 Pro came with Windows Media Centre. If you cant get any joy using that card with MP, try Media Centre in your OS

    Thanks for the reply,

I do believe it has BDA drivers, I took a screen of the driver details and what MP reports when trying to add a tv card.

I tried giving Media Center a try, but I can get roughly 4 channels to show up on there. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling MP, I had a problem with the SQL2005 portion but the rest of the installation finished, could this be causing the problem? Thanks in advance.

Well, I never get to the tvserver. I did go back and did a completed install of SQL. In the configuration though is where the problem is, I cannot add a card, it tells me there isn't one detected, when every other program I've tried (3 different than MP) and they see the card, but don't perform well enough. I did include that in the desktop screencap (on the left), not sure if its hard to make out, photobucket resized it a bit. Thank you for helping with this.
