I'm having a hell of a time trying to Learn my IR codes for reliable blasting of my settop box. If I hold the number button down while learning, IRSS will sometimes blast a digit twice resulting in an invalid channel. I have found that rapidly tapping the button I'm trying to learn gives the best result, but that results (very occasionally) in a digit that does not blast. I have tried looking at the IR codes, but they are different each time I learn one, so I can't look for some kind of inconsistency...
I currently have about a 98% success rate, but that 2% always comes and bites me in the arse when there is a program I really want to record when I'm not home and I come back and it recorded the wrong channel...
Is there anybody with some experience regarding this issue that might help.
