Level out volume? (1 Viewer)

Hello i'm having a slight quirk with MP that i'm wondering if i can figure out how to fix, the problem i have is that certain parts and certain files have different levels of volume for instance if i watch a dvd the volume is a set decibel reading, then if i watch tv the decibel reading may actually be lower so i have to turn up the volume on the MCE remote, then if i watch a mkv re-encode of bluray the volume is really loud and i have to turn back down the volume again on the remote.
So basically i'm finding certain parts are louder than each other and if there is a way to turn down the volume of say my music to get it to be closer to the other parts of MP which seem to be about right in terms of volume.

Hi,
There is a gain module in ffdshow that does this. I didn't like it though, because it "levels out" diffrences within a single song or a single movie aswell. Give it a go and see if it works for you. I'm sure it can be tweaked a bit aswell.
