Light grey letterboxing? (1 Viewer)

Just installed 0.2.3.0 after uninstalling 0.2.2.0. I have my screen resolution set to 1280x768. For movies in really wide aspect ratio, I used to get black bars on top and bottom... no problem. Now they're a grey color, even if I switch to another MPEG-2 codec. Kind of annoying; since they're so light, they stand out more than the movie I'm watching. Any ideas?

I can't resolve the probelm above, and MP also seems to forget my aspect ratio setting. In 0.2.2.0, I always had it set to Zoom 14:9 and 0.2.3.0 always defaults to "Stretch" every time I restart MP.

Where can I download the latest stable version of 0.2.2.0?

Still not working

It's set to black already. Really weird... I uninstalled 0.2.3.0 and reinstalled from scratch and I still get one of the same problems:

- light grey top and bottom borders on widescreen movies


At least the default view mode seems to be working now. I made sure my Anti-Virus was off while I reinstalled, but the strange light-colored border is still there. It never was in 0.2.2.0. Any ideas?

Please list ALL codecs installed, very few have control over this option.

ps. update video driver to latest, or does that give you problems.
