I'd like to ask for some advice using MP to watch television.
I would like to set up a TV server on a pc running Windows 7 64 bit that has a Blackgold BGT3620 receiving UK Freeview HD and set up clients on other PC's around a home network (and on the server itself).
I would like to be able to record from the EPG locally and archive a program to a NAS once the recording has been watched.
Should I choose SlimTV or MPTvClient? Which TV server should I install and what other software might be needed?
The guides are very good but I'm not sure whether my best choice for server is a branch of MP2 alpha, MP2 alpha or MP1.2.3 and which of the two clients.
