Is there a limit on the number of folders for a media location?

On my MP2 server I added a UNC network location on another W7 PC that has 106 folders (& then series sub-folders within that), but both the view options only show the last 39 folders (or the videos that are within the last 39 folders). I tried removing & re-adding, but still the same issue.

I haven't tried a local media location yet (don't have one big enough & don't really want to install MP2 on my main rig).

Thanks

As far as I know, there's no such limit.

If some folder contains a large amount of media, it can takes some time for the importer to retreive all the needed informations.

You can follow the import progress in the server logs. Once the importer has completed it's job, you should see a message "Importer job finished" or something similar (sorry I just don't remember the exact sentense).

If you have an arror in the importer, then it can be related to this issue : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/error-updating-audio-database-umlauts.106292/

Remember : Check your logs for errors and post them please. It's too hard to find the problem if we can't see the logs. Thanks.

Thanks, I just wanted to check that it wasn't an undocumented limit before investigating further.

I'll check the logs & post when I get home.

I think I just hadn't given it long enough time to import everything - I hadn't left the server app running.

OK, they have now all imported, but I'm not seeing anything that was added to the original 39 folders since they were first added? e.g. I added episode 3 of a show last night to its folder, but it's not showing up through either videos or browse media in MP2. No errors in the logs, it just seems that it isn't updating the existing library?
