    Hey, since the Raspberry Pie computers are now actually shipped, i was wondering if there will be ever such a thing as a linux support for those devices with mediaportal.
    Would be surely great - those things need like no power (usb is enough) yet are able to give out hdmi 1080p
    If you use one of there just as the end user client - that would - i think greatly increase the possibilites with mediaportal...

    For me the RaspPi looks like a great opportunity, too, but I think we will never see a Linux port of MP.
    Maybe there is a chance for a Linux-based MP-client? XBMC is a possible starting point, maybe the RaspPi will help to get more people interested in having XBMC as a fully functional MP-client (including live tv, timeshifting, etc.).

    i just ment a client which is able to recieve all the streams etc - raspi won't be strong enough itself to run a server i guess

    looking forward to test my RasPi soon with openelec (xbmc) as client :D
    It should be ok with mp tv server later on ...or maybe it already is...
