Also SD (DVD or TV) work in this mode, and it looks smooth without problems. With H264, almost all codecs in MP (PDVD DivX FFDShow WinTV7 HD Codec) deinterlace the HD stream into 25p, and so the video is not smooth (but regular). The only combination to get 50Hz is FFDShow with the option "Set interlace flag in output media type (Auto) (Auto)" activated. (No deinterlacing done in FFDShow, so it's deinterlaced by EVR/Video_Driver) In this mode the video looks good, well deinterlaced and as smooth as SD TV but I have lots of frame drops so it frequently stutters. EVR cannot play the 50 fps, it moves between 35 - 45 (seen with EVR info of FFDshow) CPU usage is always below 40-50% with H264 I have now SAF5 but with SAF4 nothing changes. I know my old video chipset is not the "recommended" but it's able to play HD content with other software configuration ! What can I do ? Below MP log files. Regards
