Live tv stops when a recording starts (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

Hope you can help. My setup is nearly complete however I have a couple of things that I just need to get sorted and could do with some help if possible...

1) I have 8 satellite tuners in my tv server. When I'm watching live tv and a scheduled recording starts, live tv freezes. I have to exit live tv screen go back to the main menu and re select that channel and I can watch live tv again. Any thoughts would be helpful?

2) using 'moving pictures' plugin is there anyway to get trailers for all of my movie library? I use to use media browser and media center master software. Putting a 'trailers' folder in the movie directory would then create a front end trailers menu when I viewed the library. This isn't a necessity, rather a nice to have!

This might be a mapping issue, since you seem to have more then enough tuners to handle it. Things you might want to check out:
- Have you mapped your channels to all cards? (TV Server config > TV Channels > TV Mapping)
- Have you set the # of channels you card can decode simultaneously? (TV Server config > TV Servers > IP/Host > Card > Edit)
Please supply us with debug logs so we can see what's going on and why it seems to use the same card twice.

You might also try enabling pre-loading for your tuners.

This has helped. Mapping cards also helped. Had 14 channels being recorded at the same time yesterday with no issues.
