Live TV Works, need help with EPG please... (1 Viewer)

Could someone please help me set up my EPG? I'm using analog comcast cable in the United States. I just installed Media Portal, and chose the TV-Server. I scanned the channels, and I am able to watch live tv fine, but I have no program information. I've been reading the manual and trying to figure it out, but I could use some quick tips... I've configured and used GB-PVR properly, but the choppy video and sound just like MCE-2005 caused me to look for another program. Surpisingly, Media portal live tv video and sound is perfectly smooth, just haven't figured out the guide yet... Thanks

In the U.S., your best option by far is Schedules Direct. Yes, it's a pay service, but it more reliable than some sort of screen scrapers. (This service was created to support open source htpc software after Zap2It shut off their service.) It's also really cheap.

See SchedulesDirect.org to sign up for an account (you can get 14 or so days free, to test it, before paying) and configure your channels.
