My system is MediaPortal 1.3.0.0 as TV-Server on a HP N54L with Windows Home Server 2011 and a TBS 6981, driver V2.0.1.6. I found out that the TBS 6981 switches the LNB supply voltage on when one of the tuners is used for the first time. (Measured with volt meter at the sat cable). The power consumption of the server increases about 5W in that case. The TBS 6981 does not switch the LNB supply voltage off when the tuners are idle again. The power consumption stays increased. Can anybody confirm this? The power consumption can be reduced again by rebooting the machine or stopping the TV-service. For a 24/7 system it would be nice to switch LNB off if tuners are idle. The TBS 6981 seems to be able to switch LNB supply. Does anybody know why this is not working? Is LNB off unsupported by MediaPortal and/or TBS 6981 drivers? Thanks Frank
