Load network shares on demand (1 Viewer)

Situation:

I have configured some video folders for MP. Some of them are not on the PC MediaPortal runs on (network shares). A folder on the HTPC itself is selected as standard video folder but when I change to the video root-folder where all my shares are visible MediaPortal checks every single one for availability even if I just want to change to a local share. If the PC having the network share is not online at this time it takes quite some time until the root folder is displayed.

My suggestion: There should be an option that allows to load these shares only on demand (by clicking them).

I am sure that this would be useful to some people but it would be necessary to write at least a routine for this.

My request just would require a line of code or maybe two if you build-in a switch in the configuratin
