I have a Windows Home Server v1 (WHS) that serves my videos to StreamedMP. This works great due to the way WHS pools the drives together, hence I have my files in the path : \\homeserver\videos\films. This network share physically exists across several hard drives.
I'm about to upgrade my server to Windows Home Server 2011 - the issue is that the drive pooling function doesn't exist in this new version, hence each drive will have it's own network share.
i.e.
\\homeserver\disk1\videos\films
\\homeserver\disk2\videos\films
I have lots of films in StreamedMP. Rather than re-import them I would prefer to modify the path so they point to the appropriate network share. What is the best way to change the path? I'm guessing I can modify the XML but unsure.
I would appreciate any pointers.
Thanks,
Lee
