With this tool you can rename logos much easier.
Its make for the "export.xml" from the TV-Server, and NEW for the "ChannelList.xml" form TVE2 (MediaPortal standalone).
PLEASE copy your logofolder and make the renameaction outsite of MediaPortal.

Instruction:
- You need a export.xml from the TV-Server or a ChannelList.xml from MediaPortal (TVE2), becouse this tool must know the channelnames.
- You need of couse the logos in a folder.
- After unzip it, start the program, select the xml file and the logo folder and klick on "get channel and imagelist".
- now map the channels to the logos and after all klick on "create logos"

in the last versions i have add some new futures. Just test it.

- This tool used the wrong information for channelname in TV-Servers export.xml, now use the correct one (DisplayName).
- "delete old renamed and not used logos" was always on. Fixed.
- Add "delete all not used logos in the folder".

- remove wait function, now faster renaming and export logos. Had add becouse debuging and forgot to remove.
- Add export function. Allow you to export only all used logos.

- Add a browse button for select the export.xml and the logo folder. The .ini file is no more need now.

- Fix a bug that not alow to start the application, have worked only on my computer.

I would like to know where you copy logos when the create images is clicked.
I cannot find them on my Vista system ;-(

Hmmm ...

Ok, for first you select the location of the export.xml, then you select the location of the logos, after this you klick on "import logos and channels". The "new/renamed" logos will be saved in the same directury who you select. I dont know wich directory you have select. This directory must have of course write rights.

Make a test ... copy the logos on the desktop and make here the renameaction. This MUST be work.
The new logos must be in the same directory who the old logos is too.
I have also test it on Vista and XP.

One question

It seems to me that the tool uses the 'real' channel name, while the tv-plugin uses the 'display channel name'
(TvServer). Is this correct, and can this problem be solved?

I would be cool if this tool was able to automatically download logos from the information in a TVguide.xml file.
