Is it possible to display logos for internet radio streams.
i have tried putting the logos in the \thumbs\radio directory named exactly the same as the station in my streams directory, but no luck

    any ideas?

    Hi

Its never worked for me so I think it might be a bug. I never got around reporting it....perhaps if you want it you should report it as a possible bug.

geov I think you are making something wrong:

-- Configuration for standalone installation of MediaPortal without TV-Server. For configuration of TV-Server based Radio thumbnails scroll down to the end of this post --

#1: set up a stream directory ("C:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\streams" in my case)

    streamconfig.gif

#2: Feel free to create subdirectories for multiple genres

    streamfolder1.gif

#3: Create single (!) playlist files for each station and add thumbnail files for each of them using the same name as the playlist file.
note: the "folder.jpg" is the thumbnail shown as folder icon afterwards inside MediaPortal

    streamfolder2.gif

#4: After these steps you should see something like this inside MediaPortal

    streammp1.gif

    streammp2.gif

-- Configuration of TV-Server based Radio thumbnails --

    #1: Open the TV-Server configuration (SetupTV.exe)

#2: Navigate to "Radio Channels"... Either click on "add", select "Web-Stream" and enter the corresponding URL or click on "import" and select the Playlist file containing you Radiostreams

    streamsv1.gif

#3: Navigate to "Radio Groups" and add a group with a name of your choice... Select the "Mapping" tab on top of the page afterwards to assign your channels to the group you just created

    streamsv2.gif

#4: Create .jpg or .png files for being used as thumbnails for your Radiostreams and place them into your "<MediaPortal>\thumbs\Radio" directory. The name of the files has to equal your Stream-Names. You also can place thumbnails for your Radiogroups by naming them "folder_<NameOfTheGroup>.<extension>" (ie: "folder_example.jpg" or "folder_example.png")

#5: After these steps your thumbnails should be displayed inside MediaPortal, for example looking like this:

    streammp1.gif

    streammp2.gif

    I hope this helps...
