Looking for quiet psu (antec fusion desktop ?) (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

after testing mp a while in a much to noisy case i'm planing to assemble a new system. After reading much about cooling, fans etc. i still don't know which PSU i should use.

I'm going to buy the zalman HD 160 case, so a PSU with a 120mm Fan should fit in, but which one is really silent?

As an alternative i could use the "Antec Fusion Desktop" with a 430W PSU included. Is this PSU quiet? At second i think 430W is much more than i need. On the other side - it's half the price than zalman + extra psu

Hi lotti99, the Antec Fusion case is very quiet if you set the case fans to the lowest speed.
Edit: I'm very pleased with this case, just keep in mind that it has some issues with the VFD and the volume knob.
