Looking for RC6 IR Receiver for MP (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'm looking for an RC6 Infrared receiver for my Mediaportal HTPC setup for use with my Harmony one Remote.

I was thinking of just buying a receiver but have seen a few people recommend having a remote in case you need to learn any of the commands.

I have found this on ebay which could do the job. Is it likely to be a RC6 receiver?

I'd recommend the ir einschalter
The Website and description are in german but maybe you know german or can utilize Google Trans. Anyway this Device is an ir receiver that supports both rc5 and rc6 protocols and is compatible with almost any ir remote on the market. It also can power on your computer as it links with the atx power button and the standby 5v supply on the mainboard. For data it is connected to the onboard comport.

Hi Merl,

Thanks for the reply. I should have added the fact that my HTPC is running from an Acer Revo 3600, so no serial ports available, only USB.

The link you provide looks like the receiver\remote for Vista MCE, that should work correctly as RC6.
