I'd recommend the ir einschalter
The Website and description are in german but maybe you know german or can utilize Google Trans. Anyway this Device is an ir receiver that supports both rc5 and rc6 protocols and is compatible with almost any ir remote on the market. It also can power on your computer as it links with the atx power button and the standby 5v supply on the mainboard. For data it is connected to the onboard comport.
