Still problems... Hi First of all, I downloaded and installed the latest CVS release, mediaportal-cvs-01-25-2006--12-05.rar Cheked the configuration, and then I tried all your suggestions. First of all, I have DivX 6 installed, but use ffdshow for DivX. It shows a little icon in the taskbar so I guess it's OK. I then tried reproducing the same result playing a MPEG movie, after pause, FF, FR and finally Back/Exit and MediaPortal stopped reacting on the remote. Went to the laptop for a VNC connection so that I could kill the application. But that was apparantly enough time for it to respond on the remote commands. Then I did the same playing a DivX movie, after a few clicks with the remote I used the Back/Exit button and nothing happens. When I used VNC session MediaPortal didn't respond to the keyboard either, Ctrl+Alt+Del to kill MediaPortal. One thing I noticed, and that was that in both cases it was pressing Back/Exit that triggered the lockup. Does that give you an idea about what's going on? BTW watching TV and use the remote doesn't give me any problems, except slow channel changing. Best regards Søren Lyhne
