Is it possible to make the text in the TvGuide, video menu and so forth more readable on a regular old tv.

I've tried tweaking the video cards sharpness/colos to no avail. No difference between 640x480 and 800x600.

I's like to see font preferences. And the ability to choose how many lines to display in the TvGuide.

Maybe it would just be easier to modify blueTwo for low-res.

Any ideas are helpful
thanks in advance

Doing this from memory, so you might have to check for the correct filenames etc. BTW, this has been covered in the past, so you couldve looked it up with the search function....

Theres a fonts.xml where you could simply add 25% for example to all font sizes, then delete the fonts directory thats full of images. Each time the program starts up and it sees that dir empty, it will get the font sizes, and then make images for all the etxts and put it i that dir. So its important you delete the dir, or empty it after editting fonts.xml.

This is certainly good to know. I didn't know this is possible before. I have experiences with other HTPC applications where this is also a problem, particularly when I had lower end graphics card. With my current Nvidia 6600gt card, this is less of an issue but it will still be a good tweak.

My only question will be that if the font sizes are increase in this manner, will it fit properly on the screen (whichever skin is in use)?

You can also take a look at this threat in the Tips & Tricks section:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=12456&highlight=font

Every skin has its own fonts.xml in its folder.
But you will have to make a bit of trial and error after chnages if it fits i your tv screen.
